Trane has some of the best warranties in the industry. The standard warranty on XR13 & XR14 (13 & 14 Seer) air-conditioners and heat pumps is five-year parts and-one year labor. The standard warranty on XL14 – XL19 (14 Seer and above) air-conditioners and heat pumps is 10-year parts and one-year labor. Trane offers extended warranties of up to 10-years parts and labor on air-conditioners and heat pumps. All Trane furnaces come with a five-year parts and one-year labor warranty. Extended warranties on furnaces are available up to 15-year parts & labor. Best of all these extended warranties are Trane warranties backed by the full faith and credit of the Trane Company not an insurance agency that might go bankrupt in a few years. Should you sell your home before the warranty runs out it can even be transferred to the new owner of the home.
